Big Tuna Indie-Rock Band in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Scotland

Big Tuna s one of Scotland’s hottest, live, indie-rock, cover acts. This four-piece, no-nonsense, band plays a selection of classic rock tunes and songs from today’s great bands and artists. Big Tuna also has a number of originals within its repertoire which they can perform if appropriate for the venue.

The band’s current set list is populist and hedonistic, designed to appeal to, and entertain, the rock-loving masses. Their repertoire features a mix of classic rock (Rolling Stones, Kinks, Hendrix) and more contemporary indie bands (White Stripes, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand).

They also have a number of hard rocking originals that can feature in a performance if appropriate for the venue. When on stage, the band claims to hail from Muskogee, Indiana although none of them have actually been to the town or the state.

Three of the guys work together at a leading Scottish PR agency and the fourth is an IT specialist.

The band is called "Big Tuna" after the fictitious town in the David Lynch film "Wild at Heart".

Their lineup is lead guitar/vocals, guitar/vocals, bass guitar, and drums.

The band have a state of the arts PA system and stage and floor lighting.

Obviously, Big Tuna is not the band for everyone's wedding. However, if you are looking for something a bit "rockier" than the usual Pop Covers, then Big Tuna is the band for you.
