Paul French is one the biggest names on the Scottish cabaret circuit and has been wowing audiences in theatres and clubs for many years.
He is vast experience on the entertainment scene and prior to going solo, sang for many years with bands, appearing on the same bill as the BeeGees, Love Affair, Badfinger, The Merseybeats, The Walker Brothers, Jimmy James, The Vagabonds, and Wayne Fontana and The Mindbenders.
As a solo act, he has also appeared on stage with Susan Maugham, Unit 4 Plus 2, The Flirtations, and for many years was a regular feature on The Hector Nicol Show, which packed audiences into theatres throughout Scotland.
He has also appeared on National Television, recorded with BBC Radio, and recorded jingles for Radio Clyde.
He has an extensive repertoire which including the songs of Lionel Ritchie, Michael Buble, Elvis Presley, Leo Sayer, The Drifters, and Pop Covers.
If you are looking for a top-class act for your club, party, ladies night, wedding, or corporate function, then we can recommend Paul without reservation.
Paul can do 2 x 45 minute cabaret spots or one caberet spot followed by dance music, if the guests wish to dance.
He can also offer 45-60 minutes of Michael Buble/Swing/Big Band music.
Paul is completely self-contained and has his own state of the art PA system and backing tracks.
Swing Is King!
This is due in no small part to the efforts of singers like Michael Buble, who have done so much to bring this to a whole new generation of admirers who are now ardent fans of the music.
Many of the songs from that era are timeless, and have become classics over the years. We all have our own favourites but these include great songs from the likes of Matt Monro, the Rat Pack, Tony Bennett, Andy Williams and many others.
However good a song is though, doing justice to it is so important, and there can be no doubt that one of the finest exponents of this on the cabaret scene in Scotland today is Paul French.
Paul is recognised as being one of the classiest performers around and this is the chance to swing along to some of the greatest songs of all time, performed by one of the most accomplished and stylised singers in the country.
If the booker is looking for a more varied programme, then Paul's "SOLID GOLD" show is the one to choose.
This still contains some of the classic swing numbers, but is much more diverse and features some of the greatest songs recorded over the years from artistes such as Lionel Richie, The Bee Gees, Elvis Presley, The Eagles, The Drifters and many others.
Tribute To Swing AND Solid Gold
If the booker so wishes and the engagement involves two spots. The first spot would normally be as per the show with the second one being a general cabaret/dance spot. However, if the evening is to be totally swing, another alternative would be for one spot being "Tribute to Swing" and the other being a" Buble"spot.
"Just a message to say thank you for entertaining are guests so well. Everyone really enjoyed it and said how brilliant you were. Also thank you for the poem, it was lovely."

Help! How do I play these music files?
It's easy! Just double-click on the link and Windows Media Player (or whatever music player you have installed on your PC) should run and start playing the music file within a few seconds. Make sure you have your speakers plugged in and switched on.
If you have a Broadband internet connection (which is very fast), then the music files should play very smoothly straight away.
However, if you have a standard "Dialup" connection (your modem dials up to allow you to make the connection to the internet) then you will find the music file stops and starts all the time. This is because your PC music player is trying to stream or play the music as it downloads to your hard drive but your internet connection isn't fast enough to play the music smoothly.
If that is what is happening to you, then all you have to do is let the music stagger through once (it is downloading as this is happening) and then it will play at full speed after that. You can then listen to the the music file as many times as you want.
Alternatively, you can download the mp3 first and play it from your Hard Drive. To do this, just right-click on the mp3 link and select "Save target as" from the drop-down menu.
You can then save the mp3 file to your Desktop or any other folder of your choice.
When the mp3 file is completely downloaded, double-click on it and it will play immediately on Windows Media player or whatever music player you have installed.
We hope that has helped you. If not, just give us a ring on 0141 577 6604 and we'll talk you through it.
We're here to help you in any way we can.
